  1. Please use public transport as far as possible to reach campus. Taxis and rickshaws will not be permitted inside the campus. You can get off near any of the campus gates and walk in.

  2. For two-wheelers, private cars or school/college buses, the parking instructions are given below.
Parking is on a first come basis at all locations.
 
Parking is at owner’s risk. IISc shall not be liable for any theft, loss, or damage to vehicles or belongings. Vehicles parked in violation of instructions are subject to towing at owner’s cost. Visitors are advised not to leave valuables inside the vehicle.
 
Gymkhana: for two-wheeler parking only. Buses, cars are not permitted to park here.
 
Sri Krishna Vihar Parking - Palace Grounds: for two-wheelers, cars, school/college buses.  
 
  • Visitors using their own cars should go directly to Palace Grounds. Follow the instructions of the personnel there to park. Shuttle service is available to come to the IISc campus and return back to the parking area. You will not be permitted to bring your car inside the campus from any of the gates.
     
  • School/College buses should enter IISc campus from the Main Gate. Security staff will guide you to a temporary halting place where all students must deboard. Buses will then exit the campus as instructed and go to Palace Grounds for parking.
     
    On the way back, students can take the shuttle bus from IISc campus to return to Palace Grounds. School/College buses will not be permitted to return to IISc campus to pick up their students when they wish to leave.
 
Shuttle service between IISc Campus and Sri Krishna Vihar Parking - Palace Grounds:
 
This is a free shuttle service for those who have parked their vehicles (cars, school/college buses) at Sri Krishna Vihar Parking - Palace Grounds.
 
From IISc campus:
 
The buses will be stationed on Tala Marg near the campus entry gate. Buses will depart every 10 min to Palace Grounds. 
 
Coordinators of school/college groups must ensure that students are always together and board these buses in a timely manner so that you can return to your buses in Palace Grounds. 
 
From Sri Krishna Vihar Parking: 
 
The buses will be stationed in designated areas in this parking and will depart every 10 min to IISc campus. 
 
Please follow the instructions of the ground staff there.
